Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 35 years of experience in the Telematics domain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Robot Framework, and CAN/CAPL scripting, along with a solid understanding of cloud-based services, in-vehicle telematics systems, and mobile application integration. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced automotive telematics solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.

- Create and execute CAN/CAPL scripts for CAN bus simulation and validation.

- Perform end-to-end testing of telematics systems, including cloud platforms, in-vehicle telematics units, and mobile applications.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Manage test cases and defect tracking using JIRA.

- Maintain test scripts and documentation using GIT for version control.

- Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and assist in basic hardware troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 35 years of proven experience in test automation.

- Proficiency in Python and Robot Framework.

- Hands-on experience with CAN/CAPL scripting for automotive communication protocols.

- Strong understanding of the Telematics domain, including:

- Cloud-based services

- In-vehicle telematics units

- CAN communication

- Mobile app integration and testing

- Working knowledge of JIRA and GIT.

- Basic understanding of hardware components and debugging.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with automotive testing tools and test environments.

- Familiarity with HIL/SIL systems.

- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices in automotive/telematics.
