Role Overview :

You will be responsible for driving test execution, specifically focusing on the automation of API testing across critical banking systems.

A key component of this role involves utilizing Power BI to generate actionable insights and reports on testing progress and quality assurance metrics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Execution Support : Lead and support complex test execution activities within assigned functional and technical areas related to the CBPR program.

- Validation & Integrity : Critically validate business processes, APIs, and complex data flows across interconnected enterprise systems, including Core Banking, Payments, General Ledger (GL), and Reporting platforms.

- Automation Focus : Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks and scripts, with a primary focus on API testing automation.

- Reporting & Analytics : Generate, analyze, and present comprehensive test reports, quality assurance metrics, and defect trends using Power BI for executive and stakeholder visibility.

Mandatory Skills & Core Competencies :

The candidate must possess demonstrable, hands-on experience in the following four core areas :

- Test Automation : Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test strategies for enterprise applications.

- API Testing Automation : Mandatory hands-on proficiency with tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI) and frameworks to automate the testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs.

- Banking Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of core banking concepts, including experience with Payments, Core Banking systems, General Ledger (GL), and regulatory reporting, especially as they relate to cross-border initiatives (CBPR).

- Power BI : Practical experience using Power BI to connect to data sources, create data models, and develop interactive dashboards for test reporting and quality metrics visualization.

Candidate Profile :

- Experience : 46.5 years of experience in test engineering, with a focus on automation.

- Domain Focus : Direct experience within the Banking/Financial Services sector is highly preferred.

- Shift Readiness : Must be available to work the UK Shift to ensure seamless collaboration with international teams.

- Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders
