Backend Developer - Python

Job Title : Backend Developer Location : Navi Mumbai (Work from Office)

Industry : Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Python and frameworks like Django/FastAPI/Flask.

- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications.

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation.

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production environments.

- Work with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure security and data protection best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as a Python Backend Developer.

- Proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Strong experience in RESTful API development and integration.

- Knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

- Good understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization.

- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have :

- Experience with GraphQL.

- Familiarity with Celery for asynchronous task processing.

- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (if applicable).
