Location : Hyderabad/Bengalore/Pune (Hybrid)

What You'll Do :

- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Teradata core database architectures supporting large scale, enterprise workloads.

- Drive query performance tuning, workload management, and system reliability, ensuring high availability and operational excellence.

- Influence technical strategy by acting as a database subject matter expert, guiding architectural decisions and long term platform evolution.

- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high performance data solutions.

- Define what success looks like by consistently delivering high impact solutions, improving system performance, and enabling innovation across teams.

Who You'll Work With :

- A high performing, collaborative team of database and analytics professionals based in Hyderabad and across global locations.

- Cross functional partners in engineering, analytics, infrastructure, and product teams, contributing to both regional and global initiatives.

- The role works closely with senior technical leaders and reports into the database and platform engineering organization.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate :

- 10+ years of experience in database engineering, database architecture, or enterprise data platforms.

- Deep expertise in database internals, SQL optimization, and workload management.

- Advanced experience with query optimizer behavior and performance tuning in large scale environments.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
