About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead(Node.js) to join our team.

You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, overseeing the design and implementation of scalable backend systems, and ensuring high code quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead backend development using Node.js and related technologies.

- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA) to define and deliver new features.

- Guide junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

- Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with 3+ years in Node.js .

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

- Good knowledge of databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience leading or mentoring a small team is highly desirable.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
