Techolution - Magento Architect

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Magento 2 solutions.

- Migrate legacy systems from Magento 1 to Magento 2, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption.

- Define scalable architecture patterns and development best practices for Magento-based applications.

- Conduct deep performance audits, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for enhanced scalability and speed.

- Ensure code quality through automated tests, code reviews, and performance benchmarks.

- Guide a small team of developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.

- Collaborate closely with UI/UX, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

- Work with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to deliver responsive and high-performing front-end experiences.

- Ensure the Magento front-end architecture is modern, maintainable, and aligned with design goals.

- Take end-to-end ownership of Magento modules, extensions, and integrations.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 2 - 4+ years of Magento 2 development experience (including custom module and theme development).

- Proven experience migrating from Magento 1 to Magento 2.

- Strong background in backend architecture and system design for high-traffic eCommerce platforms.

- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development.

- Solid experience with MySQL, PHP, and caching strategies (Redis, Varnish).

- Experience in managing and mentoring a small development team.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
