Job Title : Sr. Technology Manager (Futures & Options)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a strategic and technically strong Manager Technology to lead our technology function for the Futures & Options (F&O) division.

This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of robust, low-latency trading platforms and ensuring alignment between technology and business strategy in the derivatives market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end technology strategy for F&O trading, ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and operational requirements.

- Manage software architecture, infrastructure, development, and deployment of trading platforms and analytics tools.

- Collaborate with trading, quant, and risk teams to build scalable, high-performance systems.

- Ensure technology systems are secure, compliant, and optimized for speed and reliability.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, DevOps engineers, and technical analysts.

- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and blockchain where applicable.

- Drive automation, system upgrades, and ensure minimal downtime of mission-critical platforms.

- Manage relationships with technology vendors and ensure robust data and system integration.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6 to 12 years of experience in a senior technology roles, with at least 3 to 4 years in financial services or capital markets.

- Must have handled a team of developers.

- Strong understanding of derivatives, particularly Futures & Options trading, clearing, and settlement workflows.

- Expertise in system architecture, high-frequency trading systems, and low-latency infrastructure.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Scala.

- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure), DevOps tools, and microservices architecture.

- Demonstrated ability to lead technology transformations in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with exchanges (NSE, BSE), FIX protocol, and OMS/EMS systems.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in financial systems.
