About the Role :
We are seeking an accomplished Technical Solutions Manager to drive technology delivery and solution alignment across global development teams. This pivotal role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and secure digital platforms that meet complex client requirements.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader capable of guiding multi-disciplinary engineering teams, shaping solution architectures, and ensuring smooth coordination across product, delivery, and operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Delivery & Technical Governance :
- Oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple distributed software development teams and geographies, ensuring predictable outcomes and adherence to architectural and quality standards.
- Define, monitor, and enforce engineering best practices, code quality benchmarks, and release readiness criteria in collaboration with DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
- Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, technical dependencies, and platform scalability goals, maintaining robust governance mechanisms throughout the SDLC.
2. Solution Architecture & Technical Alignment :
- Partner with Solution Architects to design, review, and validate enterprise-grade architectures, ensuring compliance with business and technical objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables, evaluating trade-offs in scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Support architectural decisions related to microservices, cloud-native solutions, integration frameworks, APIs, data pipelines, and security models.
3. Stakeholder & Product Collaboration :
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Owners, and Engineering Leads to define solution boundaries, prioritize backlogs, and shape product evolution.
- Negotiate optimal scope and delivery commitments, balancing product ambitions with technical feasibility and platform integrity.
- Represent the technology function in customer-facing discussions, translating technical complexity into clear business value.
4. Delivery Orchestration & Agile Leadership :
- Coordinate interdependent workstreams across squads, eliminating delivery bottlenecks and managing critical dependencies through structured sprint planning.
- Establish delivery metrics (velocity, defect density, lead time) to measure engineering efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Ensure cross-functional teams operate within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks effectively, fostering transparency and iterative progress.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Development :
- Coach and mentor Squad Leads and Technical Team Leads to drive engineering excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Build a culture of technical rigor, innovation, and continuous improvement through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Foster team morale, resolve conflicts constructively, and maintain high retention through effective leadership and engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
- Strong technical background in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical delivery management within enterprise-scale systems.
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered, modular, serverless) and integration principles (RESTful APIs, message queues, middleware).
- Exposure to modern technology stacks such as Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, Python, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps tooling.
- Familiarity with data management technologies (SQL/NoSQL databases, ETL, data streaming), and security frameworks (OAuth2, SSO, IAM).
Delivery & Management Skills :
- Proven track record of delivering multi-squad, multi-region software projects in Agile/Scaled Agile environments.
- Strong experience in release planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
- Advanced understanding of SDLC phases, from requirements definition to production deployment and post-release optimization.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Leadership & Soft Skills :
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term deliverables and long-term architecture goals.
- Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
Preferred Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or delivery management roles.
- Experience working in global delivery models (onshore-offshore) with distributed agile teams.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, managing enterprise clients in technology-driven projects.
- Certification(s) such as PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, TOGAF, or AWS Solution Architect are advantageous.
