As a Technical Manager specializing in OpenText CMDB, you will serve as the primary architect and operational lead for our enterprise configuration management ecosystem in Navi Mumbai. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring that the CMDB remains a reliable "single source of truth" for our complex IT infrastructure.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams, service delivery managers, and senior stakeholders to align technical configurations with business service requirements. Your work will directly impact the stability of our production environments, enabling faster incident resolution, precise change management, and optimized infrastructure planning that drives overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust OpenText CMDB schemas to ensure accurate mapping of IT infrastructure components and their interdependencies.

- Lead the integration of discovery tools with the CMDB to automate data population, reducing manual overhead and improving data integrity for IT operations teams.

- Define and enforce ITIL-based configuration management processes to maintain high standards of service quality and regulatory compliance across the organization.

- Partner with infrastructure and application support teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies, ensuring that stakeholders have real-time visibility into the health of critical business services.

- Mentor junior technical staff and provide architectural guidance to ensure the scalability and performance of the configuration management platform as the business grows.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing and configuring OpenText CMDB platforms, with a deep understanding of data modeling and reconciliation rules.

- Proven ability to translate complex ITIL frameworks into practical, automated workflows that improve operational efficiency.

- Strong analytical mindset to interpret infrastructure data and provide actionable insights to leadership for capacity and risk management.

- Exceptional communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear documentation and process adoption.
