Technical Manager - Java Development

Description : We have an excellent opening for Technical Manager Java with travel technology leader in Industry.

Exp : 11 to 17 Yrs.

Location : Bangalore.

Mode of Work : Hybrid (3 days from Office).

JD :

As a software engineering manager, You will :.

- Lead and support a team in an agile environment responsible for analyzing user needs and design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions aligned with product roadmap.

- Actively perform roadmap explorations (study, integrate new technologies & third-party solutions) aligned with product vision.

- lead a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements.

- Provide your expertise in developing, debugging, and designing software applications and be hands-on to support the team when needed.

- Lead/Participate to design, architecture of software applications.

- collaborate with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers/technical experts on constant basis.

- Be responsible for the talent development of your team members.

- Be responsible to define team objectives and translate them into individual objectives for each team member in line with organizational goals

- Evaluate team and individual performance.

- Develop the team based on continuous assessment, have regular 1-1s with team members, coach/mentor them when needed.

- Be responsible to motivate and guide individual team members to stretch and expand their own capabilities (know-how, behavior, communication, etc.

- Build/manage a team fostering a collaborative work environment which promotes innovation and empowerment.

- Provide input for salary reviews.

Skills & Other requirements :

- 12 to 15 years of experience in IT industry with a background of building software applications.

- Excellent Technical knowledge in Java back-end and frontend technologies (full stack experience).

- Good knowledge of AWS OR Microsoft Azure is mandatory.

- Good Analytical skills with high levels of curiosity.

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Strong communication skills.

Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering.
