Group/Division :

The LS-SWIFT Division of KLAs Global Products Group provides patterned wafer inspection systems for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. Its mission is to deliver market-leading cost of ownership in defect detection for a broad range of applications in the production of semiconductors. Customers from the foundry, logic, memory, automotive, MEMS, advanced packaging and other markets rely upon high-sample wafer inspection information generated by LS-SWIFT products. LS (Laser Scanning) systems enable cost-effective patterned wafer defect detection for the industrys most sophisticated process technologies deployed in leading-edge foundry, logic, DRAM, and NAND fabs. SWIFT (Simultaneous Wafer Inspection at Fast Throughput) systems deliver all-wafer-surface (frontside, backside, and edge) macro inspection that is critical for automotive IC, MEMS, and advanced packaging processes as well as foundry/logic and memory fabs. LS-SWIFT operates from a global footprint that includes the US, Singapore, India and Germany, and serves a worldwide customer base across Asia, Europe and North America.

Essential Responsibilities :

As a Software Manager within this group, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of highly skilled software engineers to advance our wafer inspection products, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and the latest advancements in software engineering and AI/ML/DL.

You will apply your proven leadership experience to guide your team in conceiving, designing, and deploying robust and scalable software solutions for high-volume production and real-time applications.

Key responsibilities include driving the evolution toward next-generation software architecture, potentially incorporating new technology stacks, while supporting and enhancing existing features within the current platform.

Required Expertise :

- Proficiency in C#/.NET, user experience (UX), AI/ML, and open source technologies.

Essential skills :

- Strong technical problem-solving ability

- Comprehensive understanding of design patterns and programming proficiency in C#, C++, and Python

- Thorough knowledge of architecture patterns

- Solid grasp of open-source and other diverse technologies (web and thick client) with an analytical approach to evaluating the strengths and limitations of different software architectures

- Sound rational decision-making for technical and project-related matters

Preferred Qualifications :

- Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering

- Hands-on experience in AI/ML/DL, specifically DL Training infrastructure

- Hands-on experience with AI based productivity tools such as Cursor, Codeium etc.

- UX skills including wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design with industry-standard tools

- Experience in the semiconductor processing/equipment industry or with product companies is preferred

- Outstanding communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal abilities

- Self-motivated and effective as a strong team player

- Solid understanding of high-performance computing and related technologies/tools (including CPU/GPU performance comparison and relevant toolkits) alongside foundational knowledge of machine learning principles

Must-Haves :

- Total experience between 10-16 years

- Min of 4 years current experience in C++ or C#

- Experience in Windows or Web

- Min 1 year of Leadership experience as a Manager is a MUST

- This is not a AI/Algo Manager role. Look for strong C++/C# candidates with software development experience.

- Product or Semi conductor or Hardware Manufacturing company experience is a MUST. Candidates from engineering product companies have higher chances of getting shortlisted (current company or past experience)
