Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

- Allocate tasks, manage project timelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions

- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements

- Design, develop, and maintain Python/Django backend applications

- Implement clean, scalable, and well-documented code

- Work with SQLAlchemy, MySQL, and SQL Server for database design and optimization

- Integrate third-party Python modules such as itertools, boto3, SQLAlchemy, hashlib, hmac, requests, json, urllib, etc.

- Implement AWS services, such as Lambda (preferred), and other cloud-based solutions

- Experience with Python web frameworks like Web2py, Flask, Pyramid is a plus

- Use Git for version control and maintain proper branching and merging strategies

- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and other teams to ensure seamless integration

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, scalability, and security

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

- Document architecture, design patterns, and technical specifications

- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, with strong Django expertise

- Proven experience as a team lead or technical lead

- Strong database skills with MySQL and SQL Server

- Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy

- Experience with AWS services (Lambda is a plus)

- Knowledge of third-party Python modules for backend functionality

- Proficiency in Git and version control best practices

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Python web frameworks such as Flask, Web2py, Pyramid

- Experience in API development and integration

- Knowledge of cloud architecture and serverless deployment
