About the Role :

We are looking for a Technical Lead - Python with strong cloud expertise and people leadership skills to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications and services. The role involves driving technical solutions, mentoring engineering teams, ensuring delivery excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. Exposure to Databricks and data engineering technologies is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead the design and development of scalable and secure Python-based applications and services.

- Define solution architecture and technical standards aligned with business requirements.

- Drive code quality through reviews, best practices, and development standards.

- Ensure application availability, performance, security, and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Cloud Engineering :

- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Build and maintain microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.

- Work with messaging and caching technologies where applicable.

Team Leadership & Delivery :

- Lead and mentor developers, providing technical guidance and career development support.

- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.

- Drive sprint planning, estimation, and release activities in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Monitor project risks and address technical challenges proactively.

AI-Assisted Development :

- Leverage approved AI tools to improve development productivity, code quality, documentation, and troubleshooting.

- Encourage responsible adoption of AI-assisted coding and automation practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 - 10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Python.

- 2+ years of technical leadership and people management experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience designing REST APIs and microservices architectures.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.

- Strong understanding of design patterns, clean code principles, and software architecture.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark.

- Exposure to data engineering and ETL pipelines.

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.

- Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.

- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.

- Exposure to machine learning or AI frameworks.

- Relevant AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
