Technical Lead - PHP

Description:

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable backend systems using PHP/Laravel , ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

- Mentor and guide a team of backend developers, conducting code reviews and driving engineering best practices.

- Oversee development and delivery of RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring seamless integration with frontend and data teams.

- Enhance existing systems by improving microservices architecture, caching layers, API versioning, and overall system performance.

- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to plan sprints, align on technical decisions, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth CI/CD workflows.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of backend development experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.

- Strong hands-on expertise in PHP (Laravel, Lumen) and Node.js, along with MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB.

- Proven experience designing scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and working with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
