Technical Lead - Node.js/.Net Core

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and architectural consistency.

- Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.

Platform Development (Backend Focus) :

- Drive the design, development, and implementation of highly secure, scalable, and performant backend services for the crypto trading platform.

- Utilize Node.js or .NET Core to build robust APIs and microservices.

- Ensure the platform's architecture can handle high transaction volumes and low latency requirements inherent in financial trading.

Database Management :

- Design, optimize, and manage complex database schemas using PostgreSQL or SQL Server.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability for all trading-related data.

API Integrations :

- Lead and execute integrations with critical external financial and crypto platforms, including MT5, Binance, and Fireblocks APIs.

- Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient communication with these external services.

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps :

- Implement and champion DevOps practices, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD), automation, and infrastructure as code.

- Ensure the platform's scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency in the cloud environment.

Agile Development & Project Management :

- Actively participate in and lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Ensure effective task allocation, progress tracking, and timely delivery of features.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

System Security :

- Implement robust security measures throughout the platform to protect sensitive financial data and user assets.

- Stay informed about security best practices and emerging threats in the crypto space.

Key Skills :

- Backend Proficiency : Strong hands-on experience and architectural understanding of either Node.js or .NET Core for building scalable backend applications.

- Database Expertise : Proficient in database design, optimization, and management with either PostgreSQL or SQL Server.

- API Integration : Demonstrated experience integrating with third-party financial or trading APIs (e.g., MT5, Binance, Fireblocks APIs).

- Cloud Platforms : Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) including services for compute, storage, networking, and security.

- Leadership & Agile : Proven leadership experience, including technical mentorship, code reviews, and strong familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and sprint planning.

- Problem-Solving : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills) :

- Crypto Domain Experience : Prior experience in developing or working with crypto wallets, staking platforms, or crypto trading applications.

- Performance Optimization : Experience with high-frequency trading systems or low-latency application development.
