We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead Java / Node.js to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade healthcare applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express/NestJS), Microservices, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), along with a deep understanding of healthcare integration standards such as FHIR, HL7, and HIPAA.

As a Technical Lead, you will oversee a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant healthcare solutions aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Lead the design and development of distributed, scalable, and secure applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (Express/NestJS).

- Architect microservices-based solutions enabling healthcare interoperability (FHIR/HL7 APIs).

- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical design specifications.

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory standards in system architecture.

Development & Integration :

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices integrated with healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.

- Develop backend services for patient data, appointments, billing, and claims.

- Implement real-time data processing and secure data exchange using FHIR/HL7 standards.

- Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and refactoring to enhance application scalability.

Team Management & Delivery :

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering code quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.

- Oversee the full SDLC from architecture to deployment ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.

- Partner with QA and DevOps teams to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 10+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role.

- Languages : Java (8/11/17), JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL.

- Frameworks : Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Express.js, NestJS, Hibernate/JPA.

- Microservices & Integration : REST, SOAP, Kafka, RabbitMQ, FHIR, HL7, OAuth2, JWT.

- Databases : PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle.

- Cloud Platforms : AWS / Azure / GCP (Lambda, ECS, Kubernetes, S3, RDS).

- DevOps Tools : Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle.

- Healthcare Standards : FHIR, HL7, CCD, DICOM, HIPAA compliance.

- Testing : JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Mocha, Postman, Newman.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience integrating EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, etc.

- Hands-on experience with FHIR servers, SMART on FHIR, or healthcare analytics platforms.

- Familiarity with API Gateway, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture (Kafka/Streams).

- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Java OCP, or Node.js Certification.
