Job Title : Technical Lead Engineering

Location : Bangalore / Pune (Hybrid)

Responsibilities :

- Provide expertise on system architecture, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of high-volume customer-facing products and services.

- Collaborate with product management and your team while analyzing and decomposing complex software features into simpler stories for planning and execution.

- Collaborate with your team to manage and estimate the size and complexity of the features/stories. Perform the technical design, implementation, and testing of feature/stories and commit to what can be accomplished in an iteration.

- Be the technical leader for product features, responsible for ensuring that development activities are coordinated throughout the development cycle.

- Own system and feature quality throughout the development, testing and deployment phases to ensure quality delivery expectations are met.

- Drive value and build to continuously improve the quality of the teams deliverables.

- Conduct new technology research, proof of concept, and design work that will provide direction for the enhancement of the overall system and products.

- Contribute to software engineering best practices for design, coding standards, performance, security, delivery, maintainability and culture.

- Demonstrate ownership of developed components from development through production.

Requirements :

- 7+ years in software development of cloud based products and applications

- Skilled in Java related technologies including frameworks like Spring boot etc.

- Experience with multiple middleware technologies (Application Servers, BPMS, BRMS, ESB & Message Brokers), Programming languages (e.g. Java/J2EE), Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, MVS)

- Understanding of Microservice patterns & concepts & its application in problem solving

- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and Container Management software (Kubernetes, Mesos)

- Experience with NoSQL data stores, MongoDB, Redis etc. preferred

- Experience of the relational database engines like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and Postgres

- Experience with services based architecture including building RESTful APIs.

- Experience with git and version control standard practices

- A general understanding of the different layers of the software stack and how they interact with one another

- Experience with Agile development methodology

- Desire to and experience working on small development teams

- Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and DevOps - Experience with Maven and/or Gradle

- Experience with Cloud computing in AWS

- Some experience in The Atlassian Suite of Tools is preferred
