Tech Lead : Blockchain Payment Platform

About the Role :

Join us as a Tech Lead to architect and drive the technical vision of our cutting-edge blockchain-based payment infrastructure.

We need a strategic technology leader who can balance innovation with security, compliance, and enterprise-scale reliability.

What You'll Do :

Technical Architecture & Strategy :

- Design scalable system architecture for blockchain payment infrastructure across multiple networks

- Drive technology stack decisions, framework selections, and tooling strategies

- Create and execute technical roadmap aligned with business goals

- Research and integrate emerging blockchain protocols and Web3 technologies

Blockchain & Security Leadership :

- Architect multi-chain blockchain integrations and protocol implementations

- Build enterprise-grade security for wallet infrastructure and transaction flows

- Implement smart contract security frameworks and conduct audits

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems

Compliance & Risk :

- Ensure platform compliance with financial regulations (KYC/AML/PCI-DSS)

- Implement robust security protocols and data protection frameworks

- Lead security assessments, penetration testing, and risk mitigation

- Establish audit trails and regulatory reporting systems

Engineering Leadership :

- Mentor and grow high-performing development teams

- Drive technical excellence through code reviews and best practices

- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams

- Facilitate architectural discussions and technical problem-solving

Engineering Excellence :

- Define coding standards, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines

- Optimize for performance, scalability, and 99.9%+ uptime

- Champion DevOps culture and infrastructure-as-code practices

- Drive innovation in blockchain payment processing

What We're Looking For :

Must-Have Technical Skills :

- 7+ years software development experience with 3+ years in technical leadership

- Blockchain Expertise : Ethereum, Bitcoin, Layer 2 solutions (Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism)

- Languages : Node.js, Python, Go, Solidity

- Architecture : Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven design

- Cloud : AWS/GCP/Azure (containerization with Docker/Kubernetes)

- Security : Cryptography, security best practices, threat modeling

Domain Expertise :

- Fintech/payment systems/digital assets experience required

- Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks

- Knowledge of stablecoins, DeFi protocols, and tokenomics

- Payment orchestration, settlement systems, and reconciliation

Leadership Qualities :

- Proven ability to lead and scale technical teams

- Strategic problem-solver with strong analytical skills

- Excellent communicator for both technical and business stakeholders

- Experience balancing technical debt with rapid feature delivery

- Hands-on with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to Have :

- Smart contract development and security auditing experience

- Web3 integrations (WalletConnect, MetaMask, Rainbow)

- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP)

- Active open-source blockchain contributor

- Experience scaling platforms to millions of transactions

- Background with payment gateways or crypto exchanges
