Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead - Backend to lead the backend development for our CMS platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, with proven leadership experience in managing backend development teams and driving large-scale system migrations.

Skills Required :

Core : Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin (3+ years), JPA, SQL

- Strong expertise in RESTful API design & development

- Deep understanding of JVM ecosystem (Memory Management, GC, Performance tuning)

- 2+ years of Tech Lead / Team Lead experience in backend systems

- Hands-on experience with CMS systems (e.g., WordPress, AEM)

- Experience in microservice architecture (MSA) design & implementation

- Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup & management

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership :

- Lead backend architecture design and technical decision-making

- Mentor and guide backend developers, ensuring code quality & stability

- Establish best practices, review code, and maintain development culture

2. Core Development :

- Develop & maintain version control and deployment systems

- Build content repository & integration with existing AEM sites

- Design and implement RESTful API clients

3. System Operation & Management :

- JVM performance optimization & tuning

- Service monitoring using tools like Hubble & Pinpoint

- Handle incident response, on-call support & security improvements

4. Collaboration & Integration :

- Collaborate closely with frontend teams

- Integrate with AEM DAM & HMG-Commerce systems

- Analyze planning documents & derive backend requirements

5. Data Management :

- Database modeling & management (DA# tools)

- Design & optimize content data storage solutions
