Role Description :

The Technical Head - Python will play a critical leadership role in shaping the technical vision, execution strategy, and development standards for Python-related projects within Sufalam Technologies. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring deep technical expertise, strong architectural understanding, and exceptional team management abilities.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of Python developers in designing, developing, optimizing, and delivering high-performance applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, and related technologies. The role demands oversight of the complete project lifecycle-from requirement analysis and solution design to development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

In addition to technical leadership, the Technical Head will foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps, business analysts, and clients, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. The ability to manage stakeholder expectations, mentor team members, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights will be key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, architecture, and development of robust, scalable, and secure Python-based applications.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to the Python development team, fostering skill enhancement and high performance.

- Oversee project lifecycles, including requirement gathering, technical planning, sprint execution, and delivery management.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to industry best practices and security guidelines.

- Analyze complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective and timely resolutions.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization strategies, and cloud deployments.

- Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to understand requirements and provide technical feasibility insights.

- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to Python development.

- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution design artifacts.

- Support resource planning, performance reviews, and team development initiatives.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Expert-level knowledge of Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring development teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience in technical troubleshooting.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

- Knowledge of database design, SQL/NoSQL systems, and performance optimization.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
