.NET Technical Architect

Role Overview :

As a .NET Technical Architect, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design and development of .NET-based applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring robust application security and addressing vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cloud-native software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Enterprise Application Architecture & Design :

- Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and development of enterprise-level .NET-based applications on Azure, ensuring scalability, robustness, performance, and security in alignment with business requirements.

- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions.

Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including :

- Solution architecture designs

- Technical specifications

- Design patterns

- Security guidelines

Azure Cloud-Native Solution Development :

Design and implement cloud-native architectures on Azure using services such as :

- Compute & Hosting

- Azure App Service

- Azure Container Apps

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Azure Functions

API & Integration :

- Azure API Management (APIM)

- Azure Service Bus

- Azure Event Grid

Data & Storage :

- Azure SQL Database

- Cosmos DB

- Azure Blob Storage

Security Architecture & Vulnerability Management :

Own the end-to-end security posture of the platform, including :

- Secure coding standards

- Threat modeling

- Vulnerability management

- Authentication and authorization

- Data protection and privacy

- Regulatory compliance

Identity & Access Management :

Implement authentication and authorization using :

- Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID

- OAuth 2.0

- JWT (JSON Web Tokens)

Secrets & Data Protection :

- Manage secrets securely using Azure Key Vault.

- Design and implement data protection strategies across applications and services.

Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards, including :

- GDPR

- HIPAA

- PCI-DSS

Development Governance & Technical Leadership :

- Collaborate with development teams to embed :

- Secure coding practices

- Architectural standards

- Security-first development approaches within the SDLC

- Conduct code reviews to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams on :

- Solution architecture

- Azure platform capabilities

- Engineering best practices

DevSecOps & Infrastructure Automation :

- Define Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using :

- Terraform

- Azure Bicep

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with integrated DevSecOps practices using :

- Azure DevOps

- GitHub Actions

Technical Experience :

.NET Development Expertise

- 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development with a strong focus on .NET technologies,

progressing into solution architecture roles.

Hands-on experience with :

- C

- ASP.NET Core

- Web API

- MVC

- Entity Framework Core (EF Core)

Front-End Technologies :

Experience with one or more of the following :

- Angular

- React

- Blazor

Microsoft Azure Expertise :

Hands-on production experience with Azure services, including :

Compute & Application Hosting :

- Azure App Service

- Azure Container Apps

- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Azure Functions

Integration & Messaging :

- Azure API Management (APIM)

- Azure Service Bus

Data Services :

- Azure SQL Database

Microservices & Containerization :

- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
