Technical Architect - Java

Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect Java Backend to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based application architecture, microservices, cloud deployments, and strong leadership skills to guide engineering teams in delivering enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of Java backend systems primarily using the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).

- Define technical standards, best practices, and frameworks for backend development.

- Design microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications.

- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance architecture and system performance.

- Ensure system scalability, maintainability, and security according to best practices.

Key Competencies/Skill sets :

- Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).

- Experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

- Knowledge of design patterns, system design, algorithms, and data structures.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.

- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.

- Exposure to performance tuning, caching, and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of API security, OAuth, and JWT.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Education and Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Java backend development, with at least 3 years in an architecture/lead role.
