Technical Architect/Engineering Lead - System Design & Architecture

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Hands-on Tech Lead to drive the development of a scalable, real-time consultation platform. we expect someone who actively contributes to coding while leading the team.

You will lead by example by writing high-quality code, mentoring developers, removing technical blockers, and ensuring the team consistently meets delivery milestones. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of ownership, thrives in a fast-paced product environment, and takes proactive responsibility beyond the limits.

Key Responsibilities :

Hands-on Engineering Leadership :

- Actively contribute to backend development and system design

- Lead the team by example through clean, scalable, and maintainable code

- Mentor developers and improve team productivity and code quality

- Remove technical roadblocks and drive timely delivery of features

System Design & Architecture :

- Design and evolve scalable backend systems and microservices architecture

- Build robust solutions for real-time communication and high-traffic systems

- Ensure system security, reliability, and performance

Technology & API Strategy :

- Define API architecture including REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs

- Design efficient data models and database architecture

- Evaluate and adopt modern technologies aligned with product needs

Performance & Scalability :

- Build systems capable of handling high concurrency and real-time interactions

- Implement caching, load balancing, and performance optimization strategies

Modern Engineering Practices :

- Drive adoption of AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, etc.

- Leverage these tools to improve development speed, code quality, and productivity

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Java, C#, or Go

- Experience with backend frameworks like Node.js, Python, or similar

- Strong experience with Typescript

- Expertise in :

1. Microservices architecture

2. Distributed systems

3. Real-time systems

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Experience with AWS / Google Cloud / Azure

- Containerization : Docker

- Orchestration : Kubernetes

- CI/CD pipeline setup and management

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in product-based companies
