- Analyze, document, and translate complex business and functional requirements into detailed functional and non-functional technical requirements, ensuring alignment with product goals and KPIs.
- Collaborate with product teams, software architects, developers, QA, UX, and marketing teamsas well as business stakeholdersto deliver optimal software solutions and ensure smooth feature launches.
- Create and manage user stories and epics in Agile frameworks; write clear PRDs and break down features into actionable items while communicating technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
- Define data flows, system integrations, and interface mappings across platforms, and support pre-development activities such as solution design, prototyping, and technical feasibility assessments.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, process flows, and interface design documents.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, refinement, and retrospectives; manage delivery, dependencies, and technical risks in collaboration with product owners and developers.
- Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and translation of product vision into technical requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders and UI/UX teams during ideation phases to ensure technical feasibility and user-centered design is considered early in the process.
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and propose long-term solutions that align with development standards and best practices.
- Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), ensure feature validation against business and technical requirements, and help coordinate regression testing.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, compliance guidelines, and industry best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma for collaboration; Postman or Swagger for API validation; and GitHub for version control and integration awareness.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Solution Analyst, or similar role in an IT software environment.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Product life cycle and Product Management.
- Proficient in writing and interpreting technical documents, specifications, and integration designs.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Postman, and UML or flowcharting tools.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, data structures, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst is preferred, especially in technology-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in enterprise-level software projects (e.g., Cloud solutions, IoT products, CRM, ERP, SaaS platforms).
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with integration/middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel.
- Familiarity with scripting or basic programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting) is a plus.
