Key Responsibilities :
- Develop modular, layered, and service-oriented architectures
- Ensure systems are scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performing
- Create architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical roadmaps
- Lead development using C/C++ in embedded environments
- Work on Embedded Linux and RTOS-based systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX)
- Design and optimize device drivers, kernel modules, and middleware layers
- Drive hardware-software integration and system-level debugging
Networking and Security :
- Layer 2 / Layer 3 protocols
- Firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS
- Security protocols (TLS/SSL)
- Ensure secure communication and data protection across systems
Industrial Protocols :
- Modbus, OPC, IEC 104, DNP3, GOOSE
- Integrate communication stacks for industrial IoT / automation systems
Cloud and Edge Integration :
Implement and manage :
- REST APIs
- SNMP, Netconf, YANG
- Enable remote device monitoring, orchestration, and management
Open Source & Platform Expertise :
- Yocto
- RDKB
- OpenWrt
- Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies for system optimization
Performance Optimization :
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance
- Conduct performance benchmarking and tuning
Leadership and Collaboration :
- Collaborate with product, hardware, QA, and business stakeholders
- Drive design reviews, code reviews, and best practices adoption
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
