Techgrit - Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Remote Job Summary :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer with 24 years of experience to join our growing engineering team.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, and is eager to grow within a collaborative, agile environment.

You will work closely with senior developers to build and maintain scalable backend services and contribute to front-end development using modern frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.

- Apply OOP principles and clean coding practices in day-to-day development.

- Work with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate for database operations.

- Contribute to front-end development using Angular, React, or JavaScript/jQuery.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with senior engineers and participate in code reviews.

- Support CI/CD pipeline activities and work with containerization basics (Docker).

- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong understanding of Core Java OOP, exception handling, collections, and multithreading basics.

- Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API development.

- Working knowledge of Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.

- Basic SQL skills with experience in relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).

- Familiarity with front-end technologies: Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
