About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5-6 years of experience to lead -backend development, design microservices, and collaborate closely with DevOps teams. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in Python, scalable architectures, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps tooling.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of scalable Python-based applications using best coding practices.

- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions for modular, scalable systems.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend components using frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Work closely with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.

- Hands-on involvement with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration workflows.

- Integrate applications with cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Conduct performance optimization, monitoring, and debugging in distributed environments.

- Mentor junior developers and perform technical code reviews.

- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-6 years of experience in professional Python development.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and system design principles.

Proficiency with :

- FastAPI / Django / Flask

- Asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery)

- SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)

- REST API development

- Solid experience with DevOps tools & workflows:

- Docker & Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE preferred)

- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is preferred.
