Teamcenter AI Development Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW :

Hiring for a Teamcenter AI Development Engineer responsible for building AI-enabled engineering applications integrated with Siemens Teamcenter ecosystem. The role requires strong Teamcenter customization capability combined with practical Python-based AI development exposure.

The engineer will work on AI agents, workflow intelligence, Teamcenter data orchestration, and engineering process automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize Teamcenter functionalities using ITK, BMIDE, SOA, and Active Workspace

- Design AI-enabled applications integrated with Teamcenter workflows and enterprise PLM data

- Build Python-based AI utilities, automation layers, and intelligent engineering assistants

- Work on Teamcenter workflow enhancement and process automation

- Develop integrations between Teamcenter modules and AI services/models

- Customize Active Workspace UI/components for AI interaction flows

- Participate in requirement analysis, development, debugging, testing, and deployment

- Collaborate with PLM, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong Teamcenter customization experience

- Hands-on experience with :

i. ITK

ii. BMIDE

iii. SOA

iv. Teamcenter Workflow

v. Active Workspace (AW)

- Good Python programming capability

- Understanding of AI/ML concepts or AI application development

- Experience working on enterprise PLM implementations

- Strong debugging and customization capability

- B.E/B.Tech qualification

Good-To-Have Skills :

- Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP)

- Mendix Platform

- AI Agent development exposure

- LLM/GenAI integration exposure

- REST API integration

- Data engineering or ML pipeline familiarity
