Role Overview :
We are looking for a highly experienced Team Lead Java to lead backend development teams, define technical architecture, and ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of Java developers across multiple projects
- Define and drive application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Oversee end-to-end development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and performance guidance to team members
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high engineering standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and product teams to align technical solutions with business goals
- Handle production issues, risk management, and technical escalations
- Drive adoption of modern technologies and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 10 to 14 years of experience in Java application development
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Team Lead
- Deep expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate
- Strong experience in REST APIs and database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Agile delivery and team management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in designing highly scalable and distributed systems
