Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Tableau Server Administrator to join our technology team in Gurugram. In this role, you will serve as the primary custodian of our enterprise-wide Tableau ecosystem, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and robust security for our data visualization infrastructure.

You will collaborate closely with data engineering teams, business analysts, and senior stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable server configurations. By maintaining a seamless and responsive environment, you will directly empower our decision-makers to derive actionable insights from data, ultimately driving operational efficiency and strategic business growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the end-to-end administration of the Tableau Server environment, including installation, configuration, and regular patching to ensure system stability for all internal users.

- Execute comprehensive performance tuning strategies by monitoring server logs and resource utilization to minimize latency and improve dashboard load times for business stakeholders.

- Design and implement automated server backup and recovery protocols to safeguard critical data assets and ensure business continuity in line with organizational compliance standards.

- Lead IT disaster recovery planning and execution, conducting periodic drills to guarantee rapid system restoration and minimal downtime during unforeseen technical outages.

- Oversee user access management, site administration, and content governance to maintain data security and integrity across various departmental projects.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale Tableau Server environments, with a deep understanding of server architecture, cluster management, and multi-node deployments.

- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, leveraging advanced monitoring tools to optimize hardware and software configurations.

- Strong proficiency in developing and testing disaster recovery strategies, ensuring that all backup and restoration processes are documented and audit-ready.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure requirements and the needs of non-technical business stakeholders.

- A proactive mindset toward problem-solving, capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a collaborative approach within a hybrid work setup in Gurugram.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of managing enterprise-grade BI platforms.
