Tableau Developer - SQL

About The Role :

This role is ideal for professionals who excel at working with data to uncover trends, create compelling dashboards, and support strategic decision-making, all within a stable, early day-shift environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract, analyze, and transform data from multiple sources.

- Build scalable and well-structured data models to support reporting and analytics.

- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional reports.

- Conduct data analysis and identify insights to support key business strategies.

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in all analytics outputs.

- Optimize Tableau dashboard performance for speed and efficiency.

- Develop and maintain Tableau Server, including user permissions, schedules, and upgrades (if applicable).

- Create and maintain technical documentation related to Tableau development, data sources, and processes.

- Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionality and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Strong command of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.

Nice To Have :

- Knowledge of Tableau Server administration, including user management, security, and scheduling.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) or scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
