Tableau Developer - Customer Data Platform

Required Skills & Experience :

- 45 years of experience in Tableau development (Desktop + basic Server understanding).

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational or big data sources.

- Knowledge/experience of Cloudera Data Platform, including Hive, Impala, HDFS, or CDP-based data models.

- Experience with parameters, LODs, table calculations, and dashboard performance tuning.

- Good understanding of data modeling, joins, blending, and ETL concepts.

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, stories, and visualizations using Tableau Desktop.

- Convert business requirements into functional, user-friendly visual insights.

- Build complex calculations using LODs, table calculations, parameters, and advanced expressions.

- Implement best practices for visualization, usability, and performance optimization.

- Understand the basics of CDP architecture, data storage, and querying mechanisms.

- Work with Hive/Impala queries for data extraction, transformation, and blending.

Education :

- B.E./B.Tech in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
