Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mid level Tableau Consultant to join a strategic initiative for a leading healthcare organization in Canada . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing intuitive, user-friendly business intelligence dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on data storytelling and user experience .

This role requires proficiency in Amazon AuroraDB, alongside expertise in Tableau and a strong understanding of data architecture and analytics in a healthcare or large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and translate complex business requirements into effective BI solutions.

- Data Architecture Communication: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on data models and architecture.

- Tableau Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enhance decision-making across business units.

- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategy.

- User Experience Design: Build intuitive, clean, and interactive dashboards with a strong focus on usability and data clarity.

- Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau workbooks and AuroraDB SQL queries for speed and efficiency, especially when working with large healthcare datasets.

- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with IT, data engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for process and system improvement.

- Healthcare Reporting: Leverage domain knowledge to support healthcare-specific reporting, compliance, and KPIs.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- Experience developing and managing Tableau dashboards and visualizations

- Proven experience working with Amazon AuroraDB, including schema design, performance tuning, and complex query development

- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design

- Deep understanding of Tableau administration, best practices, and advanced dashboard features

- Experience working with large datasets, preferably in cloud environments

- Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data ecosystems

- Demonstrated ability to translate data into business impact and actionable insights

- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, data governance, and both structured and unstructured data

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
