System Engineer

Role Overview :

DBAce Technologies is looking for an experienced System Engineer / Windows System Administrator with a strong background in IT Infrastructure, Windows Server administration, security, vulnerability remediation, patch management, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security, stability, performance, and availability of Windows server environments. The role will focus heavily on vulnerability management, OS and firmware patching, server hardening, troubleshooting, infrastructure automation, and adherence to Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments and perform regular OS patching and security updates.

- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities and implement server hardening.

- Support VMware-based virtualized environments and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

- Work with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Networks and Entra ID.

- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and use Ansible/Terraform for IaC.

- Manage server backup operations and ensure adherence to ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows System Administrator.

- Strong expertise in Windows Server security, hardening, and patch management.

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, Ansible, and Terraform.

- Good understanding of VMware virtualization and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a security-first mindset.
