About the Role:

Our client is a leading global investment and technology development firm with more than $90 billion in investment capital. They are looking for a Systems Engineer proficient in Windows Technologies to join their Site Reliability Engineering team in Hyderabad. This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional team responsible for contributing to infrastructure engineering projects and maintaining and improving the firm's technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing, implementing, and managing the firm's Windows Infrastructure in collaboration with other IT Infrastructure teams.

- Contributing to engineering project work and tier-2/3 operational support to increase the overall supportability and reliability of the firm's enterprise technology environment.

- Upgrading and/or re-designing existing infrastructure for improved performance and stability.

What we're looking for:

- A BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering or other technical disciplines, with 6 - 15 years of work experience in the Windows domain.

- A good understanding of Windows fundamentals and extensive experience with one or more of the following: Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD, SCCM, SCOM, Hyper-V/S2D, VMware, Failover Clustering, Exchange, SQL Server, etc.

- Proficiency in PowerShell and experience with modern configuration management and development tools (e.g., Git, continuous integration systems).

- A foundational knowledge of computer networks and TCP/IP networking.

- Experience in handling L2/L3 escalations from Helpdesk/NOC and proactively identifying and fixing issues in the production environment.

- Previous experience with the design and end-to-end implementation of performant, reliable, and secure systems, and with troubleshooting using diagnostic and tracing tools.

- Experience with C# and/or Python (preferred).

- Experience in Linux or Storage systems (preferred).

- Prior experience of technical leadership or managing small teams (preferred).
