System Engineer - .Net/SQL Server

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET and SQL Developer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, with expertise in Advent implementation and integration for trading systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Trading Platforms, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain applications using .NET technologies with deep integration into Advent systems

- Build and optimize SQL-based solutions and procedures to support trading and investment operations

- Integrate trading platforms with Advent for seamless data and process flow

- Collaborate with business analysts, traders, and operations teams to gather and implement requirements

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance

- Provide technical documentation, deployment guides, and support handover.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer

- Strong expertise in SQL Server development (Stored Procedures, Views, Indexing)

- Hands-on experience in Advent system integration (APX, Geneva, or Moxy preferred)

- Strong understanding of trading, investment, and portfolio management systems

- Good exposure to API integrations, data feeds, and reporting

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders.

Good to Have :

- Experience with FIX protocol, Bloomberg, Reuters, or other market data integrations

- Knowledge of front-to-back investment workflows

- Experience in agile development environments.
