Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our core engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance systems using C and Linux, while automating complex workflows through robust Bash and Shell scripting.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional software development teams and infrastructure architects to ensure our backend systems remain scalable, secure, and efficient. By leveraging your deep understanding of data structures and low-level system programming, you will directly influence the reliability of our platform, ensuring seamless performance for our global user base and driving critical business outcomes through technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain high-performance C-based applications within a Linux environment to ensure system stability and low-latency processing for our core services.

- Develop and deploy sophisticated Bash and Shell scripts to automate routine system administration tasks, reducing manual overhead and improving operational efficiency for the DevOps team.

- Implement and optimize complex data structures to enhance the performance of backend algorithms, directly impacting the speed and responsiveness of customer-facing features.

- Troubleshoot and resolve deep-seated system-level issues by performing root cause analysis, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability for business-critical infrastructure.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate technical requirements into scalable system designs, ensuring all solutions align with long-term architectural goals.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in C programming and Linux systems internals, with a proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Advanced proficiency in Bash and Shell scripting, with a focus on building modular automation tools that streamline complex deployment pipelines.

- Strong analytical capabilities in applying data structures and algorithms to solve real-world engineering challenges and optimize system resource utilization.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders in a collaborative, office-based environment in Pune.

- A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and a strong commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced technology landscape.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, backed by 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in systems programming.
