Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Platform Administrator to own the health, governance, and evolution of our enterprise analytics platform. The role combines platform administration, operational support, monitoring engineering, governance implementation, capacity management, and custom dashboard development to provide visibility into platform health, usage, adoption, security, and performance across the enterprise. You will be the go-to expert for Fabric and Power BI at scale - setting standards, engineering automation, running the platform day-to-day, and giving leadership a clear view of what is happening across the estate. This is a hands-on senior role suited to someone who is equally comfortable in tenant settings, PowerShell, and a DAX measure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end Fabric and Power BI platform administration across tenant, capacity, workspace, and dataset layers.

- Design and build custom operational dashboards for platform health monitoring, adoption and usage analytics, governance dashboards, and executive reporting.

- Administer the Power Apps and Power Platform environments in line with enterprise standards.

- Define and enforce security and governance frameworks, including tenant policies, row-level security, sensitivity labels, and access controls.

- Engineer platform automation using PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure Automation to eliminate manual admin toil.

- Manage capacity and performance across Fabric and Power BI Premium, including workload optimization, scaling decisions, and cost visibility.

- Lead incident management and support for platform-impacting issues, working with Microsoft support and internal engineering teams to root-cause and resolve.

- Establish and run a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Power Platform adoption, best practices, and user enablement.

- Mentor developers, analysts, and other administrators; contribute to standards, patterns, and reusable assets.

Tech Stack:

Microsoft Fabric: Fabric Administration, tenant configuration, Lakehouse concepts (OneLake, Delta, shortcuts), deployment pipelines, workspace administration.

Power BI: Tenant administration, semantic model design, Premium and Fabric capacity administration, data gateway administration, REST API integration.

Power Platform: Power Apps administration, environment management, governance, CoE toolkit.

Development & Automation: SQL, PowerShell, DAX, Power Query, REST APIs, Azure Functions, Azure Automation.
