Synectics - IBM DataPower Developer - Appliance Configuration & Management

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in middleware development and management, specifically with IBM DataPower, and will be skilled in developing and managing secure web services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain IBM DataPower Gateway services and configurations.

- Implement and optimize XML transformations using XSLT and XPath.

- Develop and manage secure web services using SOAP, REST, SAML, OAuth, TLS, and SSL protocols.

- Work closely with middleware and security teams to ensure adherence to InfoSec best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DataPower appliances and integrations.

- Collaborate with Agile Scrum or Scale Agile teams for timely delivery of features and enhancements.

- Ensure efficient processing and transformation of XML and JSON payloads.

- Manage IP networking configurations related to middleware components.

- Provide technical expertise and documentation to support operational and security compliance.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataPower appliance configuration and management.

- Strong proficiency in XSLT, XPath, and XML technologies.

- Experience with web services including SOAP, REST, and security standards such as SAML and OAuth.

- Solid understanding of TLS, SSL, and other InfoSec best practices.

- Familiarity with JSON data formats and IP networking concepts.

- Proven experience working in Agile Scrum or Scale Agile environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
