Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced IBM i / AS400 Developer with strong expertise in RPG, RPGLE, CL, and CLLE to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, maintenance, and end-to-end delivery of IBM i applications within a banking environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Development & Maintenance :

- Work on the development and maintenance of the core banking product and associated modules.

2. Technical Participation :

- Participate actively in technical walkthroughs, coding, code reviews, unit testing, system testing, QA/UAT cycles, and Go?Live support.

3. Point?of?Contact Ownership :

- Serve as the primary point?of?contact for all IBM i (AS400) deliverables.

- Collaborate closely with the team manager to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

4. Reporting :

- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on progress and status.

- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with high quality.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IBM i (RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE) development or maintenance projects in current and previous organizations.

Programming Skills :

- Strong proficiency in ILE RPG and ILE CL programming.

- Solid experience in code review, debugging, troubleshooting, and unit testing.

Communication Skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred) :

- Experience with Aldon CMS tool.

Domain Expertise :

- Experience in the retail banking domain is a strong plus.

- Experience with Fiserv Signature International is an added advantage.
