We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation to improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Build, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient application deployments.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

- Develop automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting to streamline operational tasks and deployments.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.

- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.

- Manage GCP networking, IAM, security policies, and access controls following cloud security best practices.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to support application releases and production operations.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application performance issues through root cause analysis.

- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to DevOps best practices and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7-9 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC, and Cloud Monitoring.

- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Bash.

- Good understanding of Linux system administration and networking concepts.

- Experience with SQL and database administration fundamentals.

- Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
