Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test scripts for Windows (WPF) desktop applications.

- Create and execute automated functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases using TestComplete and other automation tools.

- Develop maintainable automation solutions using JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar scripting languages.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis to distinguish automation issues from product defects.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to improve software quality and automation coverage.

- Maintain automation code using Git and follow version control best practices.

- Enhance automation frameworks by improving code quality, reusability, scalability, and execution efficiency.

- Implement keyword-driven and data-driven automation approaches where applicable.

- Participate in test planning, automation strategy discussions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Test Automation.

- Hands-on experience with TestComplete or other automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress.

- Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript, C#, or Python.

- Experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.

- Knowledge of WPF/Desktop Application Automation is highly preferred.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Proficiency in Git and version control practices.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, STLC, defect lifecycle, and automation best practices.

- Experience with keyword-driven and data-driven automation frameworks is an advantage.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently, quickly learn new technologies, and contribute to automation strategy improvements.
