Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, secure, and deliver enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in GCP architecture, cloud networking, security, identity management, DevSecOps, and multi-cloud environments, particularly Azure and GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and manage VPC networking, Shared VPC, firewall policies, and network segmentation.

- Configure hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity using HA VPN and Cloud Interconnect.

- Implement Workforce Identity Federation using Microsoft Entra ID, OIDC, and SAML.

- Apply security best practices, CIS benchmarks, and security hardening controls across GCP environments.

- Integrate Security Command Center, Cloud Logging, and SIEM solutions such as Splunk.

- Design and implement privileged access management solutions and IAM governance.

- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and support DevSecOps initiatives.

- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and control mapping documents.

- Collaborate with Security, DevOps, Network, and Cloud COE teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

- Support cloud monitoring, logging, governance, and cost optimization activities.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- GCP Professional Cloud Architect and/or Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification.

- Expertise in VPC, Shared VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud DNS, HA VPN, and Cloud Interconnect.

- Experience with Security Command Center, Cloud KMS, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging, and Monitoring.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Strong understanding of Identity Federation, OIDC, SAML, IAM Conditions, and Context-Aware Access.

- Experience with Splunk integration, Palo Alto Networks, and CyberArk.

- Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and policy-as-code frameworks.

- Experience working in Azure-GCP multi-cloud environments.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification.

- Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Certification.

- Experience with Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Firestore.

- Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.

- Experience with Google Identity Platform, Firebase, or SAP CDC (Gigya).

Eligibility Criteria:

- 6+ years of relevant cloud experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in GCP architecture and security.

- Available to work in the 6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST shift.

- Comfortable with a contractual/project-based engagement.
