About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our Fraud Operations team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain technology solutions that detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent activities across our platforms.

You will work closely with fraud analysts, data scientists, and risk management teams to build scalable systems and ensure secure and seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software tools and services that support fraud detection and prevention.

- Collaborate with data teams to build machine learningdriven fraud models and integrate them into production systems.

- Build and optimize real-time monitoring systems, alerts, and dashboards to detect suspicious activity.

- Analyze transaction data to identify emerging fraud patterns and suggest preventive measures.

- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, compliance, and risk) to enhance fraud control workflows.

- Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with company security policies.

- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages : Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data pipelines.

- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS / GCP / Azure) and microservices architecture.

- Strong understanding of data security, authentication, and fraud prevention concepts.

- Experience working with APIs, transaction monitoring systems, or risk management tools.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
