Job Description :

- Expert knowledge in Dell EMC PowerMax / Huawei Storage arrays, SAN/NAS infrastructure, Commvault backup administration, storage replication, DR operations, backup recovery, performance monitoring, and operational governance.

- Manage and support enterprise storage and backup infrastructure including Commvault, Dell EMC PowerMax, Huawei Storage, SAN/NAS devices, replication, and DR solutions.

- Administer and maintain Commvault components including CommServe, Media Agents, Clients, Storage Policies, Backup Schedules, Libraries, Deduplication, and backup reports.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Commvault backup jobs, failed backups, backup windows, retention policies, storage policy copies, auxiliary copy, and restore operations.

- Perform file-level, VM-level, application-level, and full system restores as per business requirement and validate successful recovery with application/server teams.

- Manage Dell EMC PowerMax storage arrays including LUN provisioning, masking views, storage groups, host groups, port groups, snapshots/clones, capacity, and performance monitoring.

- Manage Huawei Storage arrays including storage pools, volumes, host mapping, snapshots, HyperReplication/HyperMetro or equivalent replication, and storage health monitoring.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAN fabric including Brocade/Cisco SAN switches, zoning, Fibre Channel paths, HBA connectivity, multipathing, and storage presentation issues.

- Support storage replication, backup replication, DR failover/failback activities, recovery validation, and periodic backup/restore testing for critical production systems.

- Perform incident troubleshooting, service restoration, root cause analysis, major incident support, and problem management for storage, SAN, replication, and Commvault backup issues.

- Execute patching, firmware/code upgrades, device health checks, configuration backup, storage expansion, volume migration, and backup platform maintenance activities.

- Coordinate with vendors, application teams, database teams, server teams, network teams, security teams, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and change implementation.

- Prepare and maintain SOPs, technical documents, RCA reports, implementation plans, storage diagrams, backup reports, restore evidence, and operational runbooks.

- Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, SLA commitments, backup success targets, retention policies, and operational governance processes.

- Dell Storage : Dell EMC PowerMax, Unisphere, SRDF Replication, LUN Provisioning, Masking Views, Snapshot/Clone Management, Storage Performance Monitoring.

- Huawei Storage : Huawei OceanStor, DeviceManager, HyperReplication, HyperMetro, Storage Pools, Snapshots, Capacity and Performance Management.

- SAN/NAS Administration : Brocade/Cisco SAN Switches, Fibre Channel, Zoning, HBA and Multipathing, SAN Fabric Troubleshooting, NAS Management, Replication and DR Support.

- Backup Administration : Commvault CommServe, Media Agents, Storage Policies, Backup Schedules, Job Monitoring, Deduplication, Restore and Recovery Operations, Backup Reporting.

- Disaster Recovery : Storage Replication, Backup Replication, DR Planning, Failover/Failback, Recovery Validation, Business Continuity Support.

- Operations & Governance : Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, RCA Documentation, SOP and Runbook Preparation, Audit and SLA Compliance.

Good-to-Have :

- Knowledge on storage design, architecture, consolidation, and improvement opportunities.

- Experience in storage migration and data center transformation projects.

- Exposure to networker/other enterprise backup tools in addition to Commvault.

- VMware, Linux, and Windows storage integration knowledge.
