Overview :

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Staff Engineer to join our global engineering team. In this role, you will design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for our OneLogin Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive engineering excellence across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Product & Feature Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain IAM applications and SaaS capabilities within the OneLogin platform.

- Participate in feature planning, requirements analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment.

- Ensure code quality through design reviews, code reviews, and test automation.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work :

- Work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define priorities and deliver end-to-end features.

- Partner with Security and Quality Engineering teams to ensure compliance, data security, and resiliency.

- Collaborate with platform operations teams on cloud-native architectures and service reliability improvements.

- Engage with a globally distributed team with occasional flexible hours for cross-timezone collaboration.

Platform, Architecture & Tech Improvements :

- Contribute to platform upgrades, architecture modernization, and optimization.

- Build and enhance RESTful APIs, backend components, and UI experiences using modern tech stacks.

- Assist in improving performance, scalability, and reliability for high-volume production systems.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise software development.

- Strong programming experience in object-oriented languages.

- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React.

- Proficiency in writing unit tests and using modern testing frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with SQL databasespreferably PostgreSQL.

- Working knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

- Good experience with automation frameworks using JavaScript/Python and Playwright.

- Solid understanding of authentication and identity protocols : LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, SCIM.

- Strong Git experience and familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira / Azure DevOps).

Soft Skills & Attributes :

- Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Collaborative mindset with experience working in agile Scrum teams.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid office model.
