Description:
Were not looking for a people manager.
Were looking for a deep technical leader, someone who builds, influences, and elevates engineering without needing a title to lead.
If youre the kind of engineer who designs systems that survive real-world scale, mentors by example, and solves problems at the architecture level, this role is built for you.
About the role :
As a Staff Engineer, you will operate as a high-impact Individual Contributor (IC), owning critical technical decisions, shaping architecture, and driving engineering excellence across teams.
This is not a Module Lead / Team Lead role.
You wont be measured by team size, but by technical depth, system impact, and influence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance systems using .NET and modern cloud technologies
- Drive end-to-end ownership of complex backend systems and services
- Solve deep technical challenges related to scalability, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
- Contribute to system design, code reviews, and engineering best practices
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance and hands-on problem solving (not people management)
- Continuously improve system architecture, reducing technical debt and increasing efficiency
- Influence engineering direction through strong technical judgment and decision-making
Tech Stack:
- .NET / ASP.NET Core
- Angular
- AWS (Cloud Architecture & Services)
- Kafka (Event-driven systems)
- Docker (Containerization)
- CI/CD Pipelines
What Were Looking For:
- 10 to 15 years of strong hands-on experience in .NET technologies
- Proven experience building and scaling production-grade systems
- Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
- Strong experience with cloud-native development (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on expertise in event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
- Experience with containerization and deployment pipelines (Docker, CI/CD)
- Ability to think in systems, not just tasks or tickets
- Someone who prefers staying deeply technical over people management roles
