Role Overview :

We are seeking a Staff Data Analyst to lead and scale the companys data foundations and self-serve analytics strategy.

This role involves designing robust data systems, building scalable models, and enabling stakeholders to independently access insights. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, owning the complete analytics lifecyclefrom data pipelines to executive dashboardswhile also exploring AI-driven enhancements in analytics workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Data Foundations :

- Design and implement event-based data models

- Establish a single source of truth for funnels, experiments, and core metrics

2. Self-Serve Analytics Enablement :

- Build scalable datasets and dashboards using tools like Amplitude and Mode

- Enable business teams to independently access insights

3. AI Integration :

- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into analytics workflows

- Improve discoverability and reduce dependency on manual analysis

4. Reliability & Data Quality :

- Implement monitoring, alerting, and documentation frameworks

- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in business metrics

5. End-to-End Ownership :

- Manage the full lifecycle : data pipelines , modeling , validation , dashboards

- Deliver executive-facing insights and reporting solutions

6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Adoption :

- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand use cases

- Drive adoption of self-serve analytics tools across the organization

7. Strategy & Vision :

- Define long-term analytics roadmap

- Identify gaps and implement scalable, future-ready solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, and pipeline development

- Expert-level proficiency in SQL

- Strong experience with DBT or similar data transformation frameworks

- Hands-on experience with BI/self-serve tools (Amplitude, Mode, Looker, etc.)

- Deep understanding of event-based data modeling and instrumentation

- Experience in building monitoring and alerting systems for data reliability

- Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights

- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and validation

- Proven experience driving adoption of self-serve analytics across teams

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with AI/ML tools applied to analytics workflows

- Understanding of modern data stack and scalable analytics architecture
