StackNexus - Drupal UI Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Drupal Developer with strong UI expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. This role requires someone who can work independently, contribute effectively to the entire development lifecycle, and deliver high-quality solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain responsive and feature-rich Drupal websites and applications.

- Customize Drupal themes and modules to meet project requirements.

- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces that align with modern UI/UX standards.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

- Optimize website performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.

- Work independently as an individual contributor while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

- Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed.

- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

- Maintain documentation related to design, architecture, and processes.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong expertise in Drupal 8/9/10 (custom module and theme development)

- Solid UI development skills with proficiency in :

1. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

2. Responsive design principles

3. Frontend frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap)

- Experience with Drupal theming and Twig templating

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Good understanding of Drupal site-building, content types, views, blocks, and taxonomy

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience working with Pantheon hosting platform

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

- Understanding of accessibility and SEO best practices

- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services

Candidate Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Drupal development

- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
