SSIS Developer

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Shift Timings : 5PM To 1 AM (Candidate has to be flexible, and may require 4 hours overlap of US hours)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex SSIS packages to facilitate seamless data integration across disparate source systems and data warehouses.

- Optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures to improve the performance of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Develop custom scripts using C# within SSIS to handle intricate logic and automation tasks that standard components cannot address.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline bottlenecks to ensure high data integrity and timely delivery for end-users.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document technical specifications and maintain high standards of code quality and version control.

- Monitor and maintain existing ETL frameworks to ensure system stability and scalability in alignment with evolving business needs.

Mandatory Skills :

- SSIS + NetSuite/ERP, ODBC connections and configs

- Hands-on expertise in SSIS Script components using C#, T-SQL, Execute SQL task, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)

- SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Complex Joins, Advanced T-SQL, Data warehouse + Medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold layers) in SQL Server

- SSIS Parallel processing, deployment automation, performance tuning

- SSIS Package configurations, parameters, project-level parameters and environment variables

Good to have :

- SSIS ETL using Control Flow, Data Flow, Execute SQL Task, Script Task, Script Component, Lookup, Conditional Split, Derived Column, Aggregate, Merge/Merge Join, Union All, etc.

- Error handling, checkpoints, logging, auditing and restartability

- SSIS package deployment
